Starbucks Coffees In Paris
The famous Frapucino in Paris |
|
After much thought, the coffee empire hasl open its first stores in Paris, a country where family-run cafes are the standard hang out for everyone from truck drivers to philosophers. Starbucks, whose green-and-white logo is instantly familiar in the United States, is barely known in France. Starbucks could also benefit from the perennially ambivalent approach of France to all things American.

Celine Dion
Live in Bercy |
|
After giving 5 shows per week in Las Vegas and releasing several albums, in 2007, Céline released the album « d’elles », written by 10 great female writers including George Sand, Lise Payette and Françoise Dorin then decided to set out on a world tour.
On 12 November, her album « Taking Chances » will be in the shops.
Céline Dion will be at Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy for 10 evenings from 19 May 2008 where she will sing her greatest hits as well as songs from her two latest albums.
A unique opportunity to see this great Diva again, who has been absent from the French scene for ten years.
Céline Dion is a Canadian pop singer. Born to a large, impoverished family in Quebec, Dion became a teen star after her manager René Angélil mortgaged his home to finance her first record. In 1990 she released the anglophone album Unison, establishing herself as a viable pop artist in North America and other English speaking areas of the world. |
